Thirty year-old Mark, from Cumbria, launched his England career with a double try-scoring debut against Canada in 2003.
He has now reached 36 international caps, having started the last twelve matches for England. Domestically, his scoring rate in the Guinness Premiership for Sale Sharks has been exceptional, with 67 tries in 138 matches, including registering try-scoring performances in a record-equaling eight consecutive Premiership matches.
